Recently, ABB (India) had purchased batch of water in oil sensor YHX  from our company. Customer gives praise on the performance, parameter and quality of the unit and hopes to build a long term cooperation with our company

Intr o duction
YHX water in oil sensor is applied to monitor the water content in oil systems in hydropower station, thermal power plant and large pump station.When there is water in oil tanks and oil pipes , it will give warning signal to alert the person on duty to promptly check the system to ensure the safe operation of the generator set.
 
 
 
  Working principle                                         
The sensor uses capacitive principle. The capacitive sensor consists of inner and outer electrodes and circuit (equivalent to two plates of the capacitor) . When there is water in oil, the capacitance value changes significantly between the inner and outer electrodes for the oil’s and water’s dielectric constants differ a lot. Sensor circuit generates a stable high frequency square wave. When the capacitance value changes, the square-wave frequency will change too. Though magnifying and comparing the signal , it gives relative warning signal.
